Does Anyone Still Use Ude 2?
« on: January 11, 2007, 08:18:00 PM »

Hi, I hadnt softmodded in a while and things probably have changed alot.. but I decided to stick to the methods I know.
So I used the 007AUF gamesave to get the hdkey, and then prepared a new hard drive with UDE2 using a xboxhdm linux boot cd.

The system is booting to evox, ftp is working, I can run xbmc and access my smb network, f: drive is reading tons of space, I installed my games and am playing over xbconnect. uh, i guess my point is - all is well smile.gif

But how can I install the origianl ms dashboard to manage savegames, video settings etc?

Evox seems to be running on e:\root\ .. and it doesnt look like an 'original' dashboard exists.  The c: drive has only the xboxdash.xbe and the fonts folder with bert and ernie and nk patcher stuff.
I need some info on installing a ms dashboard so i can then link to it in Evox and XBMC. My setup seems different from alot of the stuff I'm reading now, but I'd prefer not to start over.

BTW, When I tell XBMC's to go to the dashboard, it hangs.

I don't mind reading tutorials and have read tons in the past.

If someone could point me to the right reading material, I'd apreciate it.
