Xecuter 2.6 Ce Solderless Question

it still your install
use Auto installer deluxe 3.10 softmod option to do your softmods but be aware a bad softmod can make your xbox a brick

Hi. Thanks for the reply, but i quite didnt understand it. The xbox itself was a softmod gone bad. Im using the chip to try and fix it. With the chip ON i play originals and backups fine, but when i turn the chip off the xbox is useless. I used all diff kinds of Installers and everything seems to install fine, but it wont work. I even went back to the original MS dash to use the Splinter Cell hack and that wont even work. Im completely clueless now.

I am not an expert on softmodding, but I can tell you to try to use an installer and restore all original software for your Hard Drive. I can move the topic over to softmod section, and maybe someone can help you there more than I can.

Sorry, forgot to edit this post's Title.

Softmod members: Can you help him restore a softmod gone bad after recovery with an xecuter 2.6ce? I am not knowlegable with softmods and don't know what files/bios get modified during the process. All he needs is a restoration to original so the xbox works with the modchip off.

You can use CASH v1.1 to easily softmod an xbox with a chip.

Just click the link in my sig and read post #11.

And AID uses SID's softmod, Ndure is much better (which is what CASH uses).

M$ bios (softmods) require the HDD to be LOCKED, do you get an error #?

Yep its locked and no error number just frags 3 times then red light    i clicked on your guide and will look at it when time permits thanks
