Simple Music Question

You will need at least some free space to add in a new dashboard. Softmods won't do anything to your music as far as I know. You can run the original dashboard as an application, or with a dual boot. XBMC is an excellent choice for dash if you like playing music with your xbox, you can run loads of visualizations and stream music off a network (or internet). It can play music you've ripped from the microsoft dash too (it's somewhere in TDATA or UDATA I think).
