From the main menu you can go into section "I'm softmodded/Ndure v1.1" or "I'm softmodded w/Ndure v1.0" and use one of the options to copy the gamesaves onto the HDD. Then see if you can boot the gamesave and continue from there.

nope man, dont work ... think my xbox is a gonner. almost thought about throwing it against the wall, but decided that wasn't too smart. So now, I have a gaming console that can only play Splinter Cell.... how great. lol, sorry for the ranting, its my own fault (i guess). should've never messed with it. Maybe a mod chip will take care of everything?

Modchip or if you have a copy of the eeprom on your PC you can re-build it with XBOXHDM. I don't think the eeprom is still there, but if so then it's in E:\backups and the file you want is eeprom.bin. When CASH is in you have FTP access.

nope.. only cashe. Hey man thanks for the help. But I guess I'll just go look into modchips now. I've never done one and my soldering skills are less that minimal. I'll just either have to practice or search for a decent solderless unit. Thanks again!

You can also hotswap the HDD into your PC to rebuild it with xboxhdm.

hey, my xbox actually still plays games fine. My halo 2 disk is just fucked up. So, would it be possible to copy my buddies UDATA/TDATA files over through ftp to my xbox and possible retry the softmod? Or maybe even apply Krayzies Extras or something.. because my evox dash still works and plays games... but, it only has the two options of "launch game" and "system settings." Think this could work?

forgot to mention that my buddies xbox is softmodded with ndure and cash v1.1.1... I actually successfully done this right after I fucked mine up... go figure

If you can still launch discs you can burn krayzie's extras, or CASH, to a DVD and launch it from there - this will give you FTP access and so on.

hey, sorry didn't get back sooner... finals are killing me

anyhow, xfering the TDATA/UDATA actually worked and that was the only method I got to work. I cant get Cash v1.1.1 disk to work on my system.. I 've tried and tried and blah blah blah. So, the only app my box currently has is 2xDvd or whatever... I cant seem to get any emus, etc xfered through FTP still though... I dont know what to do about that. Guess I wont worry, I get my SmartXX tomarrow. Thanks for all the help guys, much appreciated!
