Is It Possible To Use A Hdd Enclosure To Hotswap?
« on: November 10, 2006, 10:36:00 PM »

Alright, I'm about to throw in the towel on the softmodding thing.  I've tried every way possible to hotswap. For example, I've turned the PC on first, Xbox second. Used power for the HDD thru the Xbox and thru the PC. Received the error 12 and waited the 5 to 6 green lights. I've tried every scenario and nothing has worked. I think it’s my PC that’s holding me up (Dell Dimension 3000). Anyway, the reason I'm posting is because I have one more option, if possible.

I have a HDD enclosure and it allows for hotswap (so it says on the box it came in). My question is, can I install the files from Ndure and the C drive to an upgraded 120 gig HDD that’s in the enclosure. Providing if I’m able to receive the C drive file in an email or download. In addition, I have Slayer's auto installer CD. So I may be able to take files off of it and place them on the 120 gig drive?

So is any of this possible? Thanks in advance.
