I have a few questions before proceeding with the installation
1) I want to create backups of my c and e drives before installing the softmod. So when i access the gamesave and backup my eeprom, can i then use ftp to access the xbox and create backups of the drives, and then perform the installation
How would i do this, will the ip of the xbox be displayed or do i have to change some settings.
If this is not possible, when is the best time to perform the backups, and what do i need to backup

I know that with the Krayzie UXE installer this is possible, but is it possible with Ndure version

Basically the answer to all of your questions is "yes". The IP should be shown as soon as the hacked save is loaded. At this point you can "backup" the c and e to your PC. You should probably run the eeprom step first so that you have that on your PC as well.

The ip address is displayed as 0.0.0.0
How do you get the ip address to be displayed?

depends on your setup. Try reading some ftp tutorials

I'm planning to mod my xbox with Krayzie Ndure Softmod Installer. I've downloaded the Installer v1.1 and v1.1.1 update and purchased an used 007:Agent Under Fire game. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any Action Replay for Xbox from any local stores. However, I did see one store has an Action Replay Max for Xbox. Here's my question, can I use the Action Replay Max to do the softmoding or I MUST use the original Action Replay (I see Amazon still carry that)??

Are there any good tutorial regarding Hard Drive upgrade after using Krayzie Ndure Softmod Installer? I found a site which has the instruction but looks really complicated, have to do mount and tar commands.
Any simply and easy to follow hard drive upgrade tutorial?

Mine would sometimes get an IP and other times would display all zereos. glad you got it fixed.
