Deactivating Uddae
« on: June 29, 2006, 04:33:00 PM »

I softmodded my xbox using ndure and textbook's tutorial.  I installed UDDAE from the ndure toolset, because I've been locked out of unleashx many times, and its saved me from having to hotswap. But now I've gotten into PGR2 again, and I'd like to use custom soundtracks.  Is it possible to remove UDDAE without screwing anything up?

Thanks.

you can rename  E:/TDATA/fffe0000/music/ST.DB to something else. That will disable uddae without touching C drive.

i know this has been a dead topic for a while (i think) but if anybody's still monitoring it, i have a question relating to Uddae.

I use virtual xbox cd ripper to copy cds to the drive. if i use that, can i still use the audio exploit at the same time?

i guess what im trying to ask is, does Uddae stop you from listening to custom tracks, or copying cds to the xbox???

Yes. You can't use the xbox soundtrack functions if you have UDDAE installed, as the title database is (intentionally) corrupted.
