That is because Shadow C is working and hiding the real C from your softmod dash.

To access the MS Dash you can either power up your xbox using the eject button (when its off hit the eject button instead of power button) or you can also copy the MS dash files from E:\Backup to C:\

u need to format your c folder and then copy the files over

What do u mean format...  and how do I do that? Please explain more detailed. BTW I have shadowC

If you can ftp the backup to your pc..Youll also need eeprom.bin or to hotswap.

Get xboxhdm and use your backup to make a xboxhdm disk.

Rebuild the C: drive with xboxhdm. that will format it then installs the backup.

Theres a problem when xboxhdm copy shadowc that may make shadowc unusable. To ficx this:

1. Run E:\NDTS\DEFAULT.XBE

2. Delete C:\shadowc\shadowc.img

3. Now copy another copy of shadowc file in the same folder. When you generate ndure setup its in the C folder

4. Now, restart xbox, you can now copy files to shadowc.

I tried this method and I followed the direction each time and I still can't access ms dashboard. I able to see the files after i run default.xbe. I delete the file and ftp a copy from the ndure folder. I reboot and I get the same error. I tried to method several times with the same result. What else could I try?
