No F: Drive After Sofmod

Softmodded my xbox and everything is working fine but for some reason I have no F: Drive so lost a few gig some how, did I do something wrong or is this normal?

XBOX Version 1.4
Softmoded with xboxhdm_v1.9 and UDE_v1.4
HDD: WDC WD80EB

DaSingh - do you have a bigger HDD or just the stock?

Using the original HDD, its a WDC WD80EB if that helps

Can you only get use of F: when using a modchip?

you can only have F when your hd is bigger then 8 GB (and yours isn't)

No, you can only get F using a larger drive. There are 2 different original xbox hds

the 8Gb Western Digital one

the 10Gb Seagate HD

the Western Digital HD cannot be partioned having an F drive, as all space is already occupied

the Seagate has some additional 2Gbs, which are the F parition.
