Boot To Iso With Ndure Dual Boot?

with a retail dualboot (such as with msxboxdash.xbe) you can only run retail signed xbe's and no homebrew xbe's. to run those you must disable the patchback key feature from nkpatcher.

You could just use dual-alt dash, and put NKP on as E:\dashboard\altdash\default.xbe

krayzie; he used kingroach's 2.0 ... which came out quite a while before yours.

DJSymmetry; if you do consider changing to one with the newer features, Nknave's gamesave installer expands on krayzie's (from what I've read) and you could do it with kingroach's feature rich 3.0 (via the x2onlinedash.xbe boot)...

I was merely replying to Deadparrots comment. I don't see how it is relevant to whos installer came first but if you feel satisfied mentioning it please do.

krayzie, my bad ... yet again (I'm lucky you're so tolerant)!

DJSymmetry; Angerwound/rmenhal's dualboot might be be all you'll need ... it has the dual-habibi source too.

You should look into Nkpatcher 11_U02. It has about every feature for your need. But you need to compile it yourself with your need.

First point boot dash to E:\dash\default.xbe:
CODE
%define DASHBOARD_PATH    '\Device\Harddisk0\Partition1\dash\default.xbe'

Disable MS patchback on eject

In open tray path:

CODE
%define OPEN_PATH          '\Device\Partition2\default.xbe' ( path and name of .xbe you want to boot)
;;; use this to enable all of NKP (disable to boot some other HACK)
%define OPEN_DASH_WITH_NKP
;;; use this to disable shadowC in open (alt) dash
;;;%define    OPEN_DASH_shadowC_OFF

you could also experiment with virtual C drive. Partition 2 is shadowc, you can change shadowc path and point it to iso..

YAY!  I got it to work!  Now when I boot with eject xbox loads my favorite emulation disc from HDD!  Thanks everyone for help and kingroach especially for recommending nkpatcher 11 U02.  I didn't know nkpatcher 10 was so relatively limited.
