Has anyone ever got debug running on a softmodded before?
You also talked of a manual method, do you have a link to this, cos this crappy google search is somewhat unhelpful.

Here is the manual install package.

I can link to it, becasue it contains no XDK code or XDK files.  NKPatcher and PBL are compiled without the use of the XDK.  You will have to supply your own BIOS, and I suggest not using my dashboard.xbx re-write.  I can't remember if it works.  Just use your own.

I haven't looked at this in months, so I honestly can't remember if it uses the most up to date method, and bear in mind this was designed for XDK 4627.

hey will the v1.5 installer that i have work with krayzie's UXE instead of Ndure?

(if not i can use the manual install package right? how come it says at the bottom of the readme you'll just get a green led and a black screen? what's the point if you just get a black screen.)

It only works with NDure., no matter which install method you choose.

As for the manual install, I packaged that up ages ago, so I just checked it.  Do NOT use it.  Looks like that was the original principle which involved multiple NKPatchers and loading the XDK from a shadowC, which has now been abandoned, with the discovery that XDK's Xboxdash.xbe is not actually needed.

I may see if I can come up with a working manual package which can be freely distributed later.

I sent Iriez a PM asking about this, and to see if it could be hosted on Xbins.  We'll see what happens.

Mines a 1.1 box, I have no idea about the 1.6... I think you have to use a different bios to ind-bios though. Yes you must obtain it from the usual places though.

Wait for someone to correct me about this though.

iND may be great, but it's got no Xcalibur support, so no 1.6 support.

It doesn't have a config file so it only loads what e:\dashboard.xbx tells it (you can edit it in a hex editor) which is by default c:\xshell.xbe.

Deadparrot posted a link for the manual install files on the previous page. Here's the link http://www.x-tremeup...491341a97f33c4d.

The install files are out of date though. Be careful using it.

You're better off not using it at all.  It's the old process which was scrapped before the installer which means the manual install doesn't actually work.  I released it ages ago to see if I could get other people to make suggestions as to how to get it to work.

Which way are you trying to get it to work? My way works  biggrin.gif.

Trying to get it to dual-boot with that package doesn't work.  Which was the original intention.
