Okay, so I installed a new HDD in one of my softmodded xboxes using a chipped box.  The softmodded box still had its original HDD in it when I used config magic to unlock the HDD.  After I unlocked the HDD the box still "ran" as long as I was in the config magic program.  I didn't get the error 5/6 (I'm not sure which one it is) until after I rebooted the box.  So, my question is, is it possible to change the eeprom of a softmodded xbox with configmagic, or in other words; with this program, is it possible to unlock/lock the HDD of a softmodded box as long as you dont reset the box?

oh yeah: I'm not sure if this is necessary but I used the Ndure softmod
