I Screwed Up Somewhere

Ok so in the mist of the halo 2 thing my friends and I decided to give up the softmodding and such. So we go to uninstall his, so the wrong way to do this which I knew at the time but my friend is a huge know it all. He ftp's into his xbox and just drags and drops the C and E drive back over the modded ones. Now we can no longer connect to live on it, and upon a try to re-install the softmod it gives us error code 112 when copying the C drive or whatever. Any help on how to re-install the softmod so we can connect to live would be appreciated or aim us on sman025s or sktrextreme.
