ok i have been reading these tuts and i am still confused on whats whats. here is a list of question that hopefuly some one can answer.
1 how do you tell what is slave connector and what is master
2. how do you connect the xbox to the pc step by step i cant tell from the pics if you leave the pc hard drive in or not
3 what files do i need besides xboxhdm v1.7
4 can i use any other version of slayer
5 what files do i put in the linix folder??

1. it should say on your hard drive what the jumper settings are
2.im not for sure what you are talking about. are you trying to hotswap?
3.slayers auto-installer (for the C and E folder)
4.sure
5.the C and E folder from slayers, and your eeprom.bin (if you have one)

use xboxhdm v1.9 and uxe-complete .. read all instructions and Daddyj's hotswapping guide ... http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=332179

but use xbrowser to transfer the files as well as backing up your original c: if using standard xbox hard drive (read the guide)

ok i have an xbox that has a mod chip in it. but im trying to get my other xboxes to work with evox. o and i have an slayer but i have the auto instaler and it gives me an iso is this what i am looking for to put in the linix

This post doesn't make much sense. It's impossible to guess what you're doing, but it looks like you're heading in the wrong direction.

It looks like you're trying to use slayers, an autoinstaller and xboxhdm all at the same time. This won't work.

Just use "Search" and read up.

ok i have been doing lot of reading and i am going to try the splinter cell exploit on an xbox version 1.6 i have been reading this tutorial http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=175558 but it use old exploits. i am trying to use uxe-complete-v0.2.2 as an exploit but not sure what step to use uxe in?

p.s.sorry for the posting the same thing there times i was haveing browser trouble
