Just wondering if anybody out there had or is having the same problem I am. Trying to Lock a western digital 300gb harddrive using Xboxhdm program. Now i have softmod several xbox and change the harddrive easily using xboxhdm. However all of them were Maxtor drives and this is the first western digital that im doing.
for some odd reason I can not lock the drive using the program. acts like it locks it but when i go to hook it back up i get the system error screen. when i try again and paid close attention it keeps saying that i need to disable the security first. so my question is does anybody know how to fix this? lock a 300gb drive using xboxhdm? or is there another program beside xboxhdm that i can try?? the drive is compatible because i have another xbox with a chip and I lock it using configmagic but i cant get it to lock under the xboxhdm. driving me crazy and ive read enough post searching for some help. help will definitely be appreciated.
