Ncaa 06 (original) Won't Load

I recently did a softmod (Krayzie's UXE via splinter cell).  Now, when I fire up my ORIGINAL NCAA 06 disc, it freezes while at the loading screen.  I get to see the ea sports, and the little video of ncaa fans, but then it gets to loading and just freezes.  I cleared the cache and xyz, but still no luck.  Any ideas?
