I downloaded the ISO,now what do I do?

Youll need a program like 'dvd decryptor' to burn that to a cd. ( or any other software that burns isos to a cd, i belive alchohal 120 or 50 will do it)

What exactly does slayer do? You pop it in and it installs a extra dashboard? Can you still boot up in the regualar dashboard? and with this can u backup games to the harddrive?

okay, first of all, i dont know what you meen by 'how safe is it'

whenever you perform any kind of mod you take a risk of fuckin your box over, and on that note its not safe.

now, if you want me to help you,  i am going to need more info! what kind of exploit did you use to mod? slayers will install evox ( a dashboard that will allow you to run apps, games, trainers, emulators ect.) and yes, you will be able to copy games to your hdd but not many with your stock hdd (you will need a program like dvd2xbox) found in the usual places.

Well I just want to mainly copy games to my xbox,does this installer include that? I dont know how to ftp really... I just want something plain and simple. I dont want emulators or anything.

1. You will need to FTP. If you dont you're taking the risk of screwing you xbox, without being able to fix it. But dammit, its a simple as "url" + password/username (both "xbox" by default)

2. READ UP Slayers won't boot on a stock xbox, you need to get a software exploit or a chip in. (both offer the same functions, no matter what someone tells you)

For what you wont to do, all you will need is DVD2XBOX and a dash (like evox)

Ok then what are my options an how to do it....I have a Mac in my room with an ethernet cable and also a router and all the way in the other room a PC.

Ok I know that Slayer only works if you have a xbox modchip. I am not good at FTP and I know it is very hard on a Mac,but if I have to I can take my XBOX in the other room. DVD2XBOX comes with the slayer installer. I have made the CD exactly as it should be and my XBOX reads burned games,this must be because I need a modchip.....to put it to you this is what I want,I have searched and nothing comes up or I can't find exactly what I want. I want an easy way to get the evox dashboard and dvdtoxbox on my xbox.

Also my friends friend said he got evox on his XBOX with a cd and no modchip,I don't see how he would do this though. I am just looking to an easy solution to softmod my xbox with evox and flash my bios without using a modchip. I tried the exploits and they f***ed up my old xbox.

Alright, just to show i'm not just complaining .....

- To install any proram on a HDD, either game or app, you'll need a modded xbox to start with.

- Once modded you can use either discs or ftp to transfer files to the xbo0x hdd.

- There are other ways, but those will always need a modded xbox and are more complicated.

Concluding :

- You don't have a modded xbox yet.
      * Get : xboxhdm + uxe complete (from xbins)
      * Or an exploitable game, memorycard, Krayzie's installer + acces to another modded xbox.
      * Read up on the topics above .... (some links in my sig.), read the pinned topics, and everything posted back up to 2 weeks ago.
      * Or : Have someone mod your xbox for you.

N.B. FTP on a mac and a PC are equal. Just the software differs. It's a protocol.
