I've been reading A LOT of posts in the forums, but I'm still not sure which softmod to use? my xbox was made 10 '04 and the last digits are 44405 dash ver 5960
I have downloaded Auto Installer Deluxe 2, boa installer 2.5, and others off here.
But according to those installs, it needs a usb media to install the softmod.
Is this the case all around? Or is there a boot cd that I can create to softmod boot?
Also is there a way after using a softmod boot cd without getting banned? I've heard about bios/dash/hdd logging, and was concerned if I softmod it, there might not be a way to unmod the bios or dash etc... without taking out the HDD.
I've read the font exploit is no good anymore, are there others?
All I really want to do is ftp the 2 new halo 2 maps on it. I've already downloaded the freebies on live, and have downloaded the final release maps off bittorent. Anyone know the proper procedure to install these?
Also does anyone know what the halo 2 phoenix maps are?
