Can't Get Xboxhdm Ude Hack Working

I've burned the cd and done the swap, but after XBOXHDM loads up on my PC, it begins loading up files and when it gets to the root@xbox prompt, my PC reboots.  I'm only about 3 steps away from having a prepared hard drive and I can't get to the step where I type "UDE" to install the hard drive image.

What's up with that?!
