none taken, i've been reading a ton of stuff, but really i aint trying to make others do my research, there are a few things i really dont get, i have installed a few chips before but never really got around to softmod an xbox till a friend asked me to install some ccfls and when i opened his xbox there was no chip and he is running avalaunch.

few question, does a softmodded xbox run like a hardmodded xbox, back up games to hd, run burned backups.??

I would agree, xboxhdm is the only way.

done this a couple of times myself.
but now that i invested in a memcard and an exploitable game i realise that i shoulda done this ages ago.

get a memcard and hire an exploitable game, this would be my recomended method.
so easy!

Do you want a larger hdd?, cause that would change things.

in that case its a toss up between a tsop flash or xboxhdm.

1.hotswap hd to ide cable of computer
2.back up all the harddrive to computer
3.overwrite c/ with contents of replace folder of UXE-Complete.0.2.1
