I have a 1.4 xbox running the UDE bert & earnie font hack (UDE2) My kernal wasnt listed so Im using the generic bert.  It loads Phoenix Boot Loader 1.4 then Exox D6 BFM Bios then the Evox Dashboard.  

It works fine (when it works) but it seems that when I reboot the XBOX it hangs at the Xbox logo / MS screen.  Once I reboot it loads fine.  It is weird because when the network cable is insetred it can be rebooted many times without this condition.  

I have tried adding the s.xtf, s2.xtf, s3.xtf and still see the condition.  I did notice an improvement after resetting the system clock but it returned later that night.  I do unplug my xbox from power when Im not using it, could it be a clock issue?

Has anyone seen this condition?  Ive been searching this forum for a few days and cannot see any posts related to this.

every kernel is listed so you should be able to get the specific font just fine. Also it might help if you set the msdash language to english

The version of UDE2 I have has a updatefonts70.zip which has fonts for 3 possible update.xbe file versions, mine is the 1974272 byte version which has no font for my kernel.  I guess I should look in the usual places for a newer version.  

My dashboard is set to english.  

Any other suggestions or is it pretty much an issue of getting a newer bert font file.  Would it help if I tried adding more than three s font files?
