I'm thinking about soft-modding my xbox, I have computer knowledge or how to use an FTP program, ect, ect. Anyways I really want to get into this sort of stuff with Halo 2 and everything, but I don't want to screw up the xbox in any way and ruin it for my brothers.
Now, I was just wondering what I should back-up to be sure that I won't mess up anything, I've been reading lots of how soft-modding works and how the xbox works. Also I was wondering if I should follow
this tutorial or one of xbox-scenes, And if I should use those files.
Also, any precautions I should take....
- I've used XBL before, therefore I have already had the update, will that make any difference?
- I'm planning on using Action Replay 8 MB so once I use the game glitch should I backup basically
everything on the xbox?
Any help will be appreciated, just really hyped out about this, sorry if any of this stuff has already been answered or anything, I just really can't screw up my xbox, plus I've been looking around here and I havn't seen much of this stuff.
