I tried building my own, self-configg'd nkPatcher, and to this date, I utterly failed.
i'm using nk 10 sources, and nasm for Windows. Is the latter bad?
If not, then I'd require help. I need a IGR-disabled xbe. I wants to play DOA2U

i already know EXACTLY what to do, dude.
i already did it.
and it would seem igr DOES have something to do with DOA2U not loading.
I'm using NASM for Windows. is it good or bad?
other info i don't really need...

give us some more info...
did you make sure you signed it with habibi? is it in the right place? where is your dash booting from? are you messing around with the shadow c drive too? are you sure of settings of your original nkpatcher? what do you mean by "it isn't working"? any error codes? is it just hanging?
oh, and you may want to consider being less snippy when people offer help...seeing as all of the assistance you get on this site is out of the goodness of people's hearts...

i once tried signing the xbe - didn't work. made 21's anyway.
messing with a shadow C? sure! i have to, cause the game checks the xboxdash.xbe.
inc? i know how to mess in it. and for the rec, "my" build of nk never booted.
settings of original? for all i know, it's the n10 normal setup.
snippy? uh... well... you see, it's in my nature. having been rejected for almost all your life up to CEGEP (17yo) was not very good for my sympathy.

Do your changes to the inc file and from the command prompt do a nasm -o nkpatcher.xbe xboxapp.asm when in the nkpatcher dir.
Put xbedump.exe and the xbe you just created in the same dir.
go to that dir in the commandprompt and do xbedump default.xbe -habibi (or shabibi)
If done right you should now have a out.xbe that you can rename and use.
Worked flawlessly the first time i tried it.

lol. to not break my a** anymore on signatures, i just managed to get FBL to load my xbe, and there we go.
but it doesn't solve the problem, FU**.
