NO physicall swap
but liveinfo (PC app) will convert EEPROM.bin from one ver to the other,
if you can find a way to physically program the EEPROM (can be done)
SIDE NOTE: MS (XBL) may allready have the stored the EEPROM/HDD in there
database if it is a brand new xbox EEPROM so be carefull what you do...
BTW: how did you kill the 1.0 EEPROM ?

Well I didn't kill the eeprom.
Also, I think these Xboxes are v1.0, but one of them is strange,so I took it as a v1.6...this judgement was wrong...WHEW!

There is a hdd locked wrong on my sol' Xbox, and it is a stock..I tried to soft mod as usual...leaving the dash out as I downloaded shit.
The box was unplugged and forgot them time, and since the dash wasn't there...WOO GO ERROR MESSAGE.

I try to use xboxhdm but ho no..it said the drive was in use when tried to unlock.
I shut off everything...AND BOOM, Xbox cant unlock hdd.

This is the first prob i have had with xboxhdm.

I guess ill need to buy a cheapmod..or hotswap my tsop or sumthin
