Xbrowser In Xboxhdm

"You can also start the xbrowser with 'xbrowser -HD'. It will then search for fatx drives on Primary and Secondary master and run the two panel window with one HD on each side. This allow easy HD to HD copy."

I need to be able to copy some files (over 60 GB) from one hard drive to another.  Both hard drives are currently unlocked.  So I Decided to use xboxhdm, thing is to do this you must have your xbox drives in primary and secondary master.  For some reason when I have both xbox drives in master, my cd/dvd rom player in slave wont be recognized by the computer.

Is this just my dvd/cdrom player? Or does it matter what computer bios I have or settings on it?  Is there anything I can do to copy files from one xbox hd to another using a computer?

If anybody knows a command that will make xbrowser search primary master and primary slave  for xbox hds that would be great.

FTP to my computer is not an option for me at the moment

P.S. I realize i could clone the drive but that takes 6+ hours for me even on my AMD Athlon 64 3500+ plus 1 drive is 120gb and the other is 200gb

check the jumper settings of cd/dvd drives.. otherwise..

put another hd ( the one you will copy from) in secondery slave:

then when you boot xboxhdm in  option 1, type the following commands:

mkdir /mnt/hd2
mkdir /mnt/hd2/C
mkdir /mnt/hd2/E
mkdir /mnt/hd2/F
mount -t fatx /dev/hdc51 /mnt/hd2/C
mount -t fatx /dev/hdc50 /mnt/hd2/E
mount -t fatx /dev/hdc55 /mnt/hd2/F

I know its a lots of commands to type but if youdo them corcetly then you will have your 60gb hard drive in /mnt/hd2/ folder when you boot xbrowser..
