Another Gamesave Installer - Avalaunch Installer

This package incorporates Avalaunch 0.49.3 into Another Gamesave Installer..  It will be
available by pressing Y when you see the XSelect Logo.

Installation:
-Unrar to a folder on your pc.
-Start xbox such that you have ftp access.
-Open a command prompt window (Start > Run > CMD).
-cd to the directory you unrarred the package into.
-type: another-avalaunch *Your IP*

Note, this is a dumb installer.. It will not function properly if it doesn't find what it
expects. It will not endanger your xbox in the slightest however.

Also look for:
Another-UIX (XSelect UP)
Another-DVDX 2.0 DVD Player (XSelect RIGHT)
Another-dvd2xbox (XSelect LEFT)

Due to command limitations do not expect another-xbmc unless somebody contacts me with a method
of recursion in ftp.exe..

AnotherGamesaveInstaller_UIX-AutoInstaller is out..

After installation press UP at XSelect screen.

One thing to note about these packages is they will overwrite any personal changes you have made to the dashboard bootup button layout..  Then again, if you have figured out how to make your own changes you probably don't need these packages..  Although it does make installation dirt simple..

Are you going to be able to make XBMC fit on a standard memory card?

These don't go on a memory card..  It just handles installation from the pc side..  All I did was made batch files that run a set of ftp commands to incorporate these dashes into an xbox that has already been modded with my installer..
The packages come complete with everything needed..  All they have to do is obtain ftp access to the xbox and execute the batchfile with their xbox ip as a parameter..

Edit: Due to the fact that xbmc has a VERY extensive directory structure, and  an inability to use recusion into directories into directories with ftp.exe the xbmc-installer will be scrapped until this is solved..

Well thats original wink.gif , Nice.........

An Idea for using XBMC would be to zip it, ftp it over, then write an unleashX script to extract it for the install..

Just a thought..

I thought about that, then I decided I didn't want to have to do it that way..  Thinking about it again though I could design it to autodownload and install it as a dash..  Now that would be pretty slick..smile.gif

Raise your hand ppl if you want xdk integration..  I'm not sure if I can do it easily, but I'll try if enough ppl want an xdk autoinstaller..

Doh! it has just come to my attention that I made an error in the most trivial easy to fix part of these installers..
Basically I mistyped the path to UIX wrong in the XSelect config..  I added this file after I tested the package on my box..  The only thing wrong is UIX doesn't load from XSelect..
When I get a minute I will post a quick fix right here since nothing against board policy is involved..  Sorry about that..

Can i ask why this is simply called "Another Gamesave Installer" when it is one of the most advanced installers available?, with its Virtual C drive/EEPROM install and UEEE install im sure it deserves a much better name..
