The purpose of the exploiting the XBOX is very simple.  It allows you to run homebrew software that has not been certified by M$.  How you choose to use this ability is up to the individual.

And its like asking "why do you sell different style's of clothing"
Like pedro said, what u use is up to you.

I reccomend getting the needed apps off a slayers disk, using UXE and a basic savegame to gain FTP/EEPROM.

unleash is not an exploit, it is a dashboard....you may want to ask around the newbie forums to get these answers....

The simple answer is that exploits allow you to do 95% of what a modchip does, run homebrew software, play backups etc.

im know many exploits and use someone
and this everything of olipro said Im know and im already make in my xbox 1.6 !  

But I never heard to speak about "uxe installer´s " and other exploits of this forums !  in this forum have many exploits estrangers to me!!

im use xdk, im resign save games, im use movie streams and etc

1* - you have a debug bios for xbox 1.4 to run xdk ?

2* - what Softmod Installer Deluxe v1.01 do ?

No you don't "need" these expolits.  If you already have a chip installed and are happy with it, then leave the chip in.  You will not gain anything by using the exploits.
