I have just tried using this installer on an xbox.
And can tell you it's brilliant.
i recomend it to all of you out there.

Does it work on XBox v1.6 without a modchip?? The description says so, if i understood it the right way...

Can anyone tell me how this should work??

Thats the point of a softmod, and it will run fine on a 1.6.

you got it to work?

I was useing 007 version of it ... and I see he came out with 1.01 because it was not installing because of wrong C and E path.

I tryed 1.01 and still NO Go! I looked in files in the 007 folder ... and he has mechsav in it and no 007 type save file.

I'm assuming you used mech assualt to get it to work ... did anyone get it to work with 007?

The French one works for me ... but I am looking for English version of it!

I was hoping this would work.

the version i used was the 007 one, and had no problems with it!
i downloaded mine through a torrent, from a certain bt site, could it be possible it has been modified by the seeders?

maybe the one you got from bit-torrent someone else FIXED ... I got the version from the usually sources (not bit-torrent).

i'm hoping the next bug fix will solve the problems or that someone can make an English Version of the French Installer.

I figure this is a good place to put bug fixes in so the Creator of this Program can get helpful feedback.

Hmmmm, so does this mean that you can have the savefile on a memory card to execute? If that's the case that sounds very interesting indeed. All the softmod packages thus far only work if the gamesave has to be on your XBox. Am I understanding your post correctly?

I just used this to mod a 1.6 but it only reads 123 gb in F. I put in a 200 gb drive. anybody know why? THanks.
