You might want to gran the Ndure installer instead, its just as simple and up-to-date. 1) Yes the dash must be updated, just hook your box up to a broadband connection and pick xbox live with a real game in. Let it update the system then restart. 2) Since you have a chipped box I think you can do this without an AR, but you still have to have a regular memory card to get the files from the chipped box to the retail box. That is, unless you can boot a slayer's disc in the retail box and ftp the files from the chipped box directly. With Krayzie's UXE 2.7 I had to doctor the zip files up according to a tutorial, but the Ndure files come prepared. 3) yes, no, yes yes yes

I'm looking forward to trying Live with this Ndure. Things got a little scary with the service screen, but I used Slayer's and FTP to restore to a stock state. I like this x2vga+! Thanks for getting the files ready for AR and incorporating the led colors more appropriately. I liked that 'press A' at the end. rotfl.gif Ever heard this expression? use a filebrowser to go to your exploited Savegame. It's somewhere in UDATA (in the case of SC it's in 21585554, I don't know where it's located with MA or AUF. rename two files like posted below:

config.xml -> config1.xml
config3e.xml -> config.xml

NOTE: this is the way it's done with 2.8 of krayzie's UXE installer. I am not sure if this will work with the 2.7 version, but I guess it does.

i have used this installler about four times now and each time it worked fine but i recently but another xbox  and decided to put a 400gig hdd in it so i tried to use the nkpatcher 67 thing but it didnt work right drive G just shows zero. so i tried again when i finally seen the format options in extras. but it didn't work either. i dont usuaslly post much just read but i got a little sick of reading today so i hope that this hasnt been covered before.  i wondering if i need to format it while i was building the hard drive but xboxhdm didn't offer an option for G drive. so i have been running my box on the Nkpatcher 6 option and it is terrible slow. one last question would the new installer the ndure work better. any help would be appreciated.
