Hey Krayzie, a small bug with version 2.8 of SC.  If you have any downloadable content on your hard drive, the mod will crash the game.  Maybe something to think about if you ever make a 2.9.

When I said Downloaded Content, I meant specifically for SC.  The Installer worked normally until I downloaded the three new levels.  I hope this information clarifies the situation a bit for you.  And I didn't intend to sound like a jerk when I spoke about making a version 2.9.

no you can't ftp to an unmodded xbox. I would try another memory card. If you wanna go cheap use a trustmaster one. They always worked for me.

Krayzie, could you seed the torrent so that me and the other poor guy at 0.0% can get it? Otherwise I'll have to use the only other one I could find (with a French read me:  "Cette sauvegarde est conÁue pour installer automatiquement l'exploit UXE.") Which I have no way of knowing wether or not it's noob-proof enough for me  smile.gif

Thanks for any help you can give!

Hi all, when I try to copy the Krayzie MA installer image to my hard drive from my USB key drive, I can see the save but the dash won't let me copy it.  It just says "Corrupted save".  Any ideas why this would be?  Any ideas where I could get a 128 Mb image file to use instead?

- I'm using the Linux 2.6.12 fatx drivers to put the files onto the key from my main box.
- I know the key drive is supported because I used it to copy UDE2 unto my old box before it kicked the bucket.

Thanks,
-Jon

If no one can help I'll just try it all again when Krayzie's new installer comes out.

Ok.  This was a STRANGE problem.  It turned out it was the video output that was getting messed up and hence the blue screen on my TV.  When I switched video cables it worked fine.  Weird.

So, when I was clicking random buttons when I had no video, I ended up installing Krayzies in DUTCH!  Now my UnleashX is all in Dutch.  Any way to uninstall?  Thanks.

I figured that that point I would just remove the 2.8 exploit and start over. Well this is where things got interesting. I removed the patch but on the next reboot I got an error code of 13. After looking up on another great tutorial by OCnewB I found out what that meant.

I was still able to ftp in to my box using a cold boot with the SC disk. (Thank the Xbox Gods). Once I did this I found that my C: was wiped. Go Figure! Not being one to panic I started banging my head on the wall. Then I remembered that I had a backup of the c: from the origional hd.  laugh.gif

While I am transfering the C: backup via flashfxp my nortons internet security is going nuts with trojan alerts. Not just one type but several different flavors. Now I am using a direct connect between the computer and the box so unknown where these worm/trojan alerts are coming from. I must have had around 10 or so come through while transfering the files from my pc to xbox.

After finishing the transfer I reboot the xbox and the M$ dashboard loads fine. I load up SC and am able to finish the softmod sucessfully. To my knowledge everything is working fine with the xbox. I did a virus scan on everyfile both on my pc and xbox and did not turn up a bug/worm/backdoor etc.

If there is still anyone reading after my long winded post  sleeping.gif I would appreciate some enlightenment if there is any to be had.
