Eey..i know its a bit of a stupid question:S but i wanna be sure:)
I finally found out (i think) out to fix the ms dash with virtual c..but someone told me that i could test if the virtual C is running by adding a folder to c..run PBL and see if its still there, and if its gone, it should be working. But i would like to know, can i use metoo-m8plus-v1.4.1 for this?? WIll it work on a 1.6 ?

Ok sorry, i asked the question to quick..i have download it and read the readme's and now I know it will work..BUT...In the boot.cfg are some lines that ask for your eeprom key etc...Is this nessacery? and what else do I have to fill in? That RC4 key? i don't know what that is:S

they are not needed by you.

Ok well i ran ShadowC..and it made a shadowc.img on the E-drive just like daddyJ tuts says:) But now..i wanted to run PBL to test if it was really working, so i tried to run PBL Meetoo. It got stuck on the loading screen, so i rebooted, everything still works, but is the shadow C still active now? And how can i test if the shadow C is active because i am afraid to delete files that aren't supposed to be deleted.
And i still don't really know what files to delete exactly.
I used UXE and have this folders.

So what files exactly do i have to delete and what do i have to keep?

Try deleting e:\shadowc\shadowc.img

if you cant, then your shadow C is working great.

If you try to delete e:\shadowc\shadowc.img and it fails, then your Shadow C is functioning properly.

What files you can delete , depend highly on where nkpatcher loads your main dash from.

Load a Bios Loader & Bios (Such as PBL Meetoo & M8) And make sure its pointing to your main dashboard.

I usually store it as an app, and then click it , and your dash will jsut reload, but you'll have access to your real C. I usually set the boot.cfg file and change the LED color, so I know when I'm accessing the Real C.

Run the dashupdate.xbe from in the file manager.
