Upgrade Hd With Softmod

I have a soft modded xbox running the M8 bios.  I'm wondering what I need to do to be able to use all the space on a 250 gig hd, the F drive is only reading about half of it.  I was told the G drive is where the rest of that space is, but it doesnt read with any free space.  What do I need to do to gain this space?

Format the G, make sure your bios is LBA48 compliant.
