Hey All,

A friend (yes it was a friend!!) changed his aspect ratio in the dash settings...  the box now boots up to green lines. Im thinking it has switched to PAL mode...

Now of course the x box is sitting in my house waiting for a solution...

I have read several posts about using the enigmah boot disk to change the settings back... but I gather this is for chiped boxes only...

Can someone please please help with some suggestions?

The box is a soft modded 1.6 using the 007 exploit....
... I do have a back up of the eeprom

If the only way to fix this is a hd swap can someone tell me what is the best tutorial out there for a newb as I have never done the swap before...
