Did you let a LIVE enabled game update your dash?

You can try other LIVE games as well. They can even be backups as long as there DASHUPDATE.XBE is in tact.

Slayers does contain a M$ dash.

Try it without the fonts in c:\
only in c:\fonts

Make sure Xbox.xtf is listed first.

Instead of the bert.xtf and ernie.xtf files can you use the UXE font file - bert_ate_ernie-generic.xtf?

i tried it but got a 21 error;  i followed the rest of the instructions though

basically i used shadowcmaker to make an iso of my current softmodded (UXE) c; placed the shadowc.img in c: (which is where nkpatcher looks for it); rebooted and got an error 21

the dash loaded fine before i put the shadowc.img files in c:

what am i doing wrong?
