ok before i verified if i pull my eeprom of my unmodded box. flash it to a modded box. upgrade a hdd in the modded box, lock it and install uxe it will boot on my unmodded box (same eeprom so same lock codes for hdd right)

but heres the kicker
my unmodded box is a 1.6... my modded box is a 1.4 so the eeprom wont work on my 1.4 and ic ant seem to figur eout how to edit the 1.4's eeprom to use the ame key.
