Xbox Backup Troubles

I just upgraded to a 160GB Hard Drive from my stock xbox and I was placing some of my current games onto my Hard Drive with dvd2xbox.  But for some reason, I can't get an entire game to copy.  It gives me read errors and the game discs that I am using are in new condition.  I modded my xbox with this tutorial Xbox Mod Tutorial

Any ideas?
