Assistance With Nkpatcher10

If you use nkpatcher-06.xbe you must have a file in the C directory named evoxdash.xbe and the appropriate folders for the evox dash to run (namely the skins folder and the evox.ini)

If you don't know how to do this, I don't suggest you mess around too much with your C drive.

Or you could just do what I did and recompile the nkpatcher to run a dashboard from your E drive (i.e E:\Dashboard) because that is where ltools puts the dash.

EDIT: Oops forgot to say that the file in the C directory must BE the evox dash executable.  And since you renamed xboxdash.xbe to evoxdash.xbe you just messed up your soft mod.  There are tutorials around that tell you how to fix it (assuming you backed up your eeprom info, etc.)
Good Luck, hope you fix your box

uhh hate to say this but renaming evoxdash.xbe to xboxdash.xbe would caus the xbox to boot in an endless cycle.

like sugested before just put the nkpatcher file to the place the fonts look first. For ltools that is c:\dualboot.xbe then put the dash on c:\evoxdash.xbe

weird. I dropped nasm into the src folder, edited the config file to boot from e:\, and ran

 nasm -o nkpatcher.xbe xboxapp.asm

from the cmd prompt, and it processedfor a few seconds, and I get nothing. No new xbe file, nothing. Is there something I'm missing?
