Hmmm.... the clock loop would explain the fact that it wouldn't boot games anymore

But... it would still be possible to hot swap the harddrive... but the timing is a little precise ...

just replace your C with a stock drive and you should be ready to go ...

many ways to recover this drive, chip is not necessary ...

That is what I did, hotswapped and put a stock c drive on it.

How about... if the drive isn't booting M$ DASH?  ... just some xbox live error that you cant get out of, and you cannot boot any games?

that's my problem.  Cant boot games to get AUF exploit on to fix C, cant load slayers ...  any ideas?
