I absolutely love all the extra's Nkpatcher allready has right now.
The next best thing would indeed be LBA-48 support.
I mod xbox's on an almost daily basis.
I am currently using pbl-metoo for this since that method works for any xbox and any size hdd.
As soon as LBA-48 support is implemented I will probably switch to nkpatcher.
(I like to use 1 method for all xbox's. Currently I cannot since lot's of people want 160/200 GB hdd's in their xbox's)
I absolutely love the shadow-c function.
But it still has a user-accesible file on the E-partition.
Currently I tell people to stay away from the C completely (I altered everything so it completely boots from C and then loads the dash from F, and then E)
When nkpatcher 9 is out I will probably start modding xbox's using nkpatcher and make the shadow-C file read-only.
But a better way (if possible at all) would maybe be if the shadow-c file is on the
real C-partition.
That way, after booting is done, there is absolutely nothing a standard user could do which would make the xbox stop booting (at the most they can fck up the fake C which would mean they would simple not have an ms-dash anymore)
(changing the xbox-region would also make sure nothing gets booted prior to the exploits)
Anyways, I'm very much looking forward to nkpatcher v9.
Merry christmas to all
