ok here is the thing i have 2 probs 1 i am doing a crystal xbox with the font exploit
k now on the stock hd i can get it to run evox np but only from the E drive if i put evox or ava in C it wont launch
2nd i want to install a new hd on this box what i did was copy all files from the orig one to the new one but it keeps giving me a error 5 do i have to lock the hd and if so how do i do this i tried on another modded box useing the slayers disk but it didnt work

Use a BIOS loader like PBLMetoo to load a BIOS. Thses BIOS'es normally load C:\evoxdash.xbe, etc...

And to upgrade your hard drive you need it properly locked and formatted. Get your EEPROM and use xboxhdm.

ok i used the m8 that came in the package but no luck but thats no biggy
ok do i just do a backup on the orig hd and lock the new hd with that key?
im pretty new to the exploits im use to doing the tsops also with the exploits or even the new boxes does the hd need to be locked?

Well, yes, all Xbox'es need the HD locked.

Go find the xboxhdm thread in the pinned topics. Should be a guide in there for it.
