agreed. the automated installers are nice, but what good are they if you need to troubleshoot them when something flies south?

this really does need to be pinned.....

Nice Job Krayzie, I'll see what I can do about pinning this somewhere for you. If you need to make edits to this after 15 minutes you will have to PM me with the corrections because of the new EDIT Rule.

Unsure, possibly because people were editing posts they weren't supposed to edit. You might PM HSDemonz on that one. Anyhow, from now on you have 15 from the time you posted to make your changes. Afterwards you will need to contact a mod.  tongue.gif

Excellent post, Krayzie. I think this will go a long way in helping people be able to troubleshoot or even make changes to their setup that they would not understand or attempt, because of a lack of knowledge. Very nice.

As for the 15 minute edit rule, I read that this was because some disgruntled user(s) have gone on a deleting rampage prior to leaving the forum (for whatever reason) and deleted messages that might have been helpful to the scene. Can't remember which thread though.

Problem was noobs would say, post something and then come back a day later and remove everything in their post by editing it.

So, if you ever got a main thread that needs help ask HS he said he'd try to work something out or just ask a mod.

How about a Group by Group Editing feature.

Trying to softmod my box... couldn't get the "savedgame" to work when I was accessing my audio files to attempt to copy the save in order to config my box it said all "100 files are full" or something.

Second random question for anyone... since I figured it was because of my dashboard ver.  I found one of the UDE files but it was in a bz2 format.  How the hell do you decompress a bz2 file?  I looked, found some stupid salimandar program but nothing works, any idea?
Thanks

I'm not sure what exploit you were aiming for. But the latest version of winrar should open a bz2 file.

If not ICE420U will
