Keo-Keo, you stated "If you apps aren't showing up your doing somthing wrong.. NO your apps folder cannot be in C for one"

I said it made no difference whether I "placed an apps folder in c or the e drive".  I never said I only installed it on a c drive.  Are you still following me....if you are, then good, give yourself a pat on the back...

let's move on to the point why apps are not showing up on the dashboard.  as Hoops pointed out above, the reason why apps are not showing up, It is BECAUSE you have to manually rename the main xbe of that particular app to default.xbe or it will not show up on the dash.

think and READ carefully before you question someone's intelligence.  your inept responses only reflects poorly on yourself

Again your not too smart huh lil guy?

When in fact it does make a diffrence if you had looked at the .xml file you could see where unleashX is scanning for the apps folders...  I have yet to insult you.. I called you a fool because well you are.. It shouldn't be insulting to you unless you lack the understanding of what a fool is (which is what a fool is anyways)..

Your quick to relinquish all blame from yourself and try to bash a very useful and easy to use tool because you couldn't get it to work. It looks as if it hurt your pride and you aren't as 1337!!!!! as you thought you were.. I'm sorry your pride was hurt.. If you like i'd be happy to help you get waffle tools working (relive you of being ignorent and teach you somthing)

Hey Wafflezone,

You've been pretty quiet for the last few weeks.  Any chance a new release will be made availiable any time soon?  Awesome installer, I've done several boxes with you installer.  Hope all the bitching and moaning hasn't detered you from doing another release.

Thanks again,
DMJR :)

Has Waffletools died? It would be a real shame.

to Paperw8t
The linux problem has to do with m$ 1.6 xboxes video chip not the waffletools. The installer is good. Its just that m$ has found a way to combat, in a scense, the linux march to softmoddedness. YET, its works!!!!
Take care

In the newer release of waffle tools linux got corrupted.. It happens sometimes when your uploading in ASCII in stead of BIN.

Just wanted to Post here and says thanks.
Installed it on 2 1.6 boxes and it works great, have been running dvd, games, backups, streaming vids/mp3, roms, etc. for 2 months now, with no problems .. :)  Great work, hope ya dont get discouraged  from making a new one, by the people complaining here.

After i got this running, ive gotten to do alot of reading here, and understand alot more about the xbox then i did previously, I was totaly new to the mod-scene before. :P

I only seem to see pictures in this thread of the original dashboard skin. Does this version of Unleash X allow you to upload your own skin? I feel odd asking this, but I'm still new to this.

Does anyone know a way to get a debug bios running with Waffletools? I'm trying to install XDK on the third hdd of my Xbox X-Tender. Waffletools is running fine and I have all the XDK files in place and ready to go. All I need to do now is run a debug bios (I think) and all should be good to go.

Yep
Check in the settings for the option to set the skin path.
Also it has the ability to go online to xbox-skins.net and download them

Nice, thanks for the help. Another question, Wafflezone gave me this link in a thread I made. Has anyone used the Splinter Cell method, because I'm not sure how the two part installation works.

Edit: Fixed link.

Nice another link that contains illegal software. Splinter Cell is no different than other saves except for the fact it uses two save files.
