Wafflezone amazing work. Very clean implementation. It shows that you put a lot of time into it. Ignore the lamers. It looks like if you keep up this momentum or even *half* of this momentum ldots will have to catch up with you.

Two major amazing releases very close to each other im going to write up in a quick 'best of' tutorial / thread. (waffletools and autoinstaller deluxe).

Anyway here are some thoughts...

Summary:
Works on all xboxs installing the latest UXE and UnleashX.
Well lets see when you install / reinstall it first backs up the drive.
Has built in file explorer.
It has a traystate open recovery system.

Questions / Suggestions:
Does the ftp support DHCP?
Does it overwrite prior UnleashX configs? Maybe have an option to use old config or new clean one?
Which bios does it use? If one bios works universally for loading unleashX choices are a non-issue. Im not sure if there are any issues / missing features of using a softmod to load metoo m8.
Hmmm im going to try to think of other simple, useful things that add value to this installer, and not just bloat or unnecessary options. I have an idea that isnt fully developed yet but I want to research if its already been done before suggesting it (and test its feasabilty).

Wafflezone:

I got it again on a new crystal xbox. That fucked up screen. Guess its a 1.6b also

In ur installer, there's only one bios, but not one for 16.b i guess? That might be the problem of that fucked up screen? And rebooting, sometimes 2,3 times to get the screen good again is not cool. Did about 8 xboxes allready with ur installer and no problems with it. Only with the new crystals 1.6(B )?

Waffle , do you use the latest m8 bios in there.
I havent read of any known issues with the v1.6b and the latest m8 bios.

The only conflict I'm aware of on that version is the linux graphic issue.

Does your installer use linux at anytime? Could that be the conflict?

yeah, it does, for eeprom backup. Only on those newer boxes, it had a green screen. But uxe itself works. Only sometimes that fucked up screen. So i guess the bios is fine? I thought linux caused this graphic issue?

Progress is a lot faster now because I found out I can do all testing on my own xbox without the games. As long as the gamesave exploit loads unleashx fine, ill be able to test for all 3 games.

Today I improved the bootpaths to be more safe in case something happens to your dashboard.

I, too, cannot find waffletools at the usual place. Where do we go for it?

I currently have the SC version installed and would like to be able to boot into the original MSDash. Is there a way to do this? I read where you could with one of the MA releases.

Holy crap, stop hounding me.

It's not on xbins until the admins decide to put it there and that could be a long time

When that happens, I'll probably make a new thread.

If the xbox is booted from eject, that fucked up screen doesn't appear anymore on a 1.6 xbox.

But i'll post a screenshot when the guy i modded send it to me

Off Topic, but have been looking for an answer to this question:

CODE
<List Text="Delete Cache" Sort="On" Batch="True">

Removing backup files...........

Create Cache Folder

Removing files from X...........

Removing files from Y...........

Removing files from Z...........

Can I use this in my evox.inin to auto clear the cache and XYZ drives?

I would try it, but don't have access to my box right now.

If anyone knows of a working command to clear the E:\Cache\ folder I, along with many others would appreciate it.

Tried Waffletools SC. Worked extremely well! Love the DHCP feature when using the DualBoot. Love the modded and unmodded folders for recovery. Support for 137+ is great too.

Good Job

Hey waffle, do you plan to incorparate nkpatcher 8.1 into waffletools. This way you could setup the msdash with no need for patching.
