I tired it on 3 xbox, no problem, then today.. everything went perfect untill it went to linux to do the eeprom backup, the screen got green. Couldnt see when it was done, so to be sure, I waited a couple minutes. Then i rebooted, everything ok, ftp-ed some apps, emus and stuff on it, then rebooted to see if everything was on it and working. But then the screen got messed up. Startup logo of avalaunch was like a mirror into 1000 pieces and the rest also, even the original bootup sequence from ms. Then rebooted again, everything went again smoothly. What could this be? I guess it will happen more, can't say, xbox is gone. But customer may think I fucked up his xbox a bit. Don't like that. It was a Crystal pal from halo 2 pack. It's maybe a 1.6b?  


Dan, the xbox has an ip on startup with unleashx? U can ftp right away

Having just checked the code, its a DHCP IP that is assigned, this could be why I didnt get the ip, cause my pc\xbox never seems to like DHCP, nevermind, aslong as everyone else gets an IP I can cope tongue.gif

Easily, just put avalaunch in C:\Dashboard\ instead of unleashx.
Make sure it is named default.xbe.

It has nothing to do with avalaunch, it was even the first time with unleashx. I think that linux thing fucked something up. But ok, when u reboot its fixed. A little weird, never saw this.

Is there a way the m$ dash could be patched and working again automaticly by programming?

I just got an email from the usual place. He said he'd look at it later this afternoon and let me know later today. He also said theres no reason they wouldn't host it as long as it wasn't a virus that messes xboxes up.

Yes, always fix the m$ dash manually, just wondering if maybe a programmer could make it in an installer to do it automaticly. That would be nice.

Can't make an sreenshot, xbox is back with the owner. So booted up, ms intro came up fucked up, and then avalaunch also. Therefore same thing with Unleash, including the ms intro. So it has nothing to do with the dash. Dunno what it is, if it happens he can just reboot. A lil bug he has to live with. Not a mayor problem, just find it weird

It makes C backup (unmodded) and then installs a UXE-complete like package that I put together with UnleashX and PBLmetoo 1.4.1. The scripts I included with UnleashX allow you to revert back to the MSDash so you can go on live, while making a backup of your modded C drive. When you want to be modded again, go into the gamesave and click on "restore modded backup".

Have you submitted the AUF installer to the usual places?  If you need a tester (or not i just want to check it out, it looks slick), I'll be more than happy to.  It's not like I do anything else with my life anyway.

Well, it's been like a 3 days and I am no closer to getting WaffleTools in the usual place. They seem to be ignoring my emails and PMs. I don't know what is going on here.
