Forget it.  I've been looking through the files and they are different.  My idea was a bust.  I just don't understand why Splintercell freezes when i select linux from the gamesaves.  Is this why you need to fix it wafflezone?

waffletools,

so is this normal that the 007_1224 package once transferred to the unmodded xbox, does it come out to 677 blocks?  and thus will not fit on a 8mb 502 blocks M$ memory card?

Wafflezone,

I have a question regarding the patching of the original dashboard.  I realise that in one of the earlier posts you mentioned that the m$dash patch only works on v5960 however I have a v5659 and would like to patch this?  Can you give me a hint as to how I would use ppl to do this?

Alternatively can I just copy the msdash.xbe from a 5960 box and use that?  I want to eventually be able to boot into original m$dash without going through Unleashx.  Is this possible?

joedm make sure your box is unmodded (so you won't get banned from live), boot up an xbox live enabled game and click on the live tab, it will update you to the newest dash... 5960 (not sure if you need to be connected to the net... probably do)

On a side note if anybody wants to help me get an ipod, I would greatly appreciate it if they signed up for it under me. Apparently this site is pretty reputable and I know several people who have gotten their stuff from it. They also have money, a digital camera and even a camcorder.

I've made some pretty good leaps on my installer lately. As soon as I decide a good way to impliment Shadow C, I think it'll be ready.

Does anybody that knows how to install EEE want to chat with me on AIM? I'm interested in using it as a way to revert back to modded after playing on XBOX LIVE

wafflezone,

Can i change from using pbl to nkpatcher after I have waffletools installed?

I noticed that waffletools menu is still available under system menu.  Is it just a matter of going in and selecting the one I want (ie. pbl or nkpatcher) and then rebooting the xbox?

wafflezone, me again...
Is there a way to modify your installer?  or even the gamesave exploit?  Is there source  code for this or is it all scripts? and is there a place where I can get my hands on it?

Only interested to get the installer working properly with my v1.6 xbox.  It works at the moment, however I have to remember to do the eeprom backup via evox etc.  Also I wanted to know how to update different components used in the install like nkpatcher etc.
