Yeah, Game saves go in e:\UDATA folder.
FTP into your xbox now, and look at how the UDATA folder is arranged. Every game has a TitleID and looks something like this 4d1000d, then in there is the actual game save.
With some practice, you should be able to figure out how to place a gamesave thru ftp.
Use UnleashX as an app for its gamesave manager, so you can test the save before loading the game its for.
