The link isn't broken, just that it hits the yahoo download limit from time to time, that is the price of free. Unfortunately, the whole point I setup the http download is to save myself some time from mailing the same thing again and again so you have to wait yahoo to reset the limit(usually daily, may be even just a few hours).

The display may not work on 1.6, otherwise should have no problem on either format. You can still control the whole thing from telnet into the machine.

It is nothing special, just a linux with a special loading sequence to cater for hotplug/hotswap another HD and with a telnet/ftp server for remote operation. I did it for the same reason as stated in this root post, only have notebook.

I would've tried it by now, but the download limit problem is stopping me from downloading.  I just keep getting an "Unable to process request at this time -- error 999" from Yahoo.  Guess I'll just have to wait a little while longer.  I could try to host it on one of my free sites when i can finally download it.  That is, of course, with chimp's permission

I have no idea what went wrong in yahoo but even I can't access the files but can make a copy of it(strange), I have fixed the link.

Please take the file and host/replicate/bittorent it in whatever way you like, it is all GPL licensed stuff and 100% legal. I don't think I am going to maintain it in the future anyway as that is just tools I used(and no longer needed).

it should try DHCP first but would always have 192.168.0.3/24 with root/xbox as the id/password.
