Switching Hdd To Bigger After Xbe Exploit
« on: November 30, 2004, 07:28:00 PM »

I want to do an external hdd place where i can switch hdds for my xbox.
The tutorials say i need a modchip but i don't have one.
Will my xbox still read a burnt game or files without the hard drive because the xbe exploit is all in the hdd(i think)
So can i still run evox from a disc when there is no original hdd,no modchip, but just the 137+gb hdd? so i can format the drive?!!!

And im confused on a couple of last things i never figured out:
On c: there is the msdash and the fonts
on e: you add default.xbe to xbe mod it
whats the default.xbe for...is it settings to tell xbox to run.Does it run that before the dashboard on c:

when you rename the orig xboxdash to somethign else. what is the file for that it replaces? it that more settings for it to run? i have evoxdash.. so does it run that?

i never heard of any bios thing untill that ltools when it installed a bios on my drive telling me to change to compatible on 1.6b what is that bios file...seems like that is the settings file becuase i edited using evtools to do stuff. Or is the bios that is auto ran into my xbox somewhere as the real bios.

if no original hdd,no modchip, but just the 137+gb hdd and evox disc cannot be done...i saw there is the tsop thing...so could i flash that tsop thing from evox to run evox from dics when there is no hdd?!

if somethig is confusing or type error plz post!!!
