To clear up the confusion that I see looking through the posts lately, I created the
ude2-complete / uxe-complete kits as an alternative to ltools (by ldots).
The main reason why I made it so there was no access to the original dashboard is because of a few personal unhappy experiances I had with it. I do a lot of softmodding, local and remotely (over the internet) and the problem I have run across is memory layout changes.
I'm not sure if anyone has posted about this, but if you do something like set a parental password on the xbox (through the MS dash), most of the time the xbox will lock up and the exploit will no longer work due to the memory layout being changed. I'm sure there are a few other things you can do (such as change the xbox's main language) to make it not work also.
For a future release I was debating whether to make a "live-compatible-uxe-complete" kit. I would make 3 flavors which would benefit owners of the gamesave exploited games.
One for each: Splinter Cell (chocolate), Mech Assault (vanilla), and 007 AUF (strawberry).
It would be a basic Evox script. What I had in mind was the following two options:
1. Backup original C to somewhere on E and copy exploit from gamesave directory to C
2. Restore original C for xbox live.
As of now I use something very similar, they don't seem to be scanning E, atleast not yet. I will take pedros advice and hide it in the st.db directory.
Only problem this could create is someone not having enough space on E. I like how ldots has the compress C to E option, but I don't want to force a reset after this is completed. I want a plain "enable" and "disable" with no 2+ steps for it to work.
Also, since the release of metoo 1.4.1, I might upgrade to that for the lba48 support, unless rmenhal can add this in the nkpatcher

rmenhal: thanks for finally implementing those features btw
