Wafflezone, I am inerested in hearing more about you "repackaging"
I have modded my 1.6 with the UDE complete kit, but would like the option to change my default dashboard to Avalaunch or XBMC. I  plan  do th same wih my brother-in-law's computer. What have you placed in the first two directories that you listed?

Right now, my C: drive only conains /Fonts and xboxdash.xbe and Evox loads on startup.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The only differences are I hex edited some fonts to look for the bios loader in C:\BIOSLoader\default.xbe
and the included BIOS looks in
1) E:\APPS\XBMCDash\default.xbe
2) F:\APPS\XBMCDash\default.xbe
3) C:\Dashboard\default.xbe

It only seems natural that a "clean" install make sense like that biggrin.gif

Does the UXE package come with nkpatcher6 or nkpatcher7? I looked in the usual places for nkpatcher7 but I only saw nkpatcher6.

OK if I want to use UXE-complete with XBMC instead of Evox do I simply replace the ex.xbe file with the default.xbe of XBMC and upload all of the other files required for XBMC?

Any reason why this is using ex.xbe instead of the normal default.xbe???

Thanks

This is the usual place for NKPatcher.

Me too! Can we put a bigger HDD in than 137gig?

No NKPatcher that supports HDDs > 137GB has been released yet!

There's no mention of it on the Official thread.
(Although I've heard hints it's being worked on wink.gif )

Version 0.1 finished.

What's new:

Two folders which clean up the cluttered c:\fonts\ directory:

c:\fonts\nk\
This includes the nkpatcher 8.1 and disk-image-tools in a 'apps' subdirectory.

and

c:\fonts\dashboard\
This includes the Evox dashboard by default. Can be easily changed.

I will get this to the usual places asap. Changing the dashboard is very simple now. Just erase everything in the dashboard folder (c:\fonts\dashboard\) and put whatever dash you want there, renaming its launch xbe to default.xbe (if it isn't that already).

Simple upgrades, but helpful.
